A couple of months ago we replaced an older hive with a bigger one to provide more space for the 🐝🐝🐝 all went well and the bees love their new larger home 🏨 the old one got a fresh coat of paint and has become a new home for one of our splits 🌸🐝 mission accomplished 💪

Last Saturday, we had to split another hive 🐝 bees were too packed and also a bit spicy so we figured we will give them some more space 🐝 so far the split is doing well and has some good traffic in front of it. The main reason why splitting hives is important is to prevent swarming 🐝🐝🐝🐝 in the past, we had waited too long and lost some of our bees sadly. We most certainly learned our lesson - the bees do not follow our schedule lol - they have their own 🐝🐝🐝🐝
