Most coaches don’t realize there are three specific gaps that keep them stuck
Gap 1: When a client stalls, the instinct is to cut calories.
But a stall is not a sign to eat less; it’s data.
It means the body has adapted and needs a different stimulus entirely. Knowing the difference between a true plateau and a data trend is what separates reactive coaching from strategic coaching.
Gap 2: The most common clients in any roster are women with PCOS, Hashimoto’s, perimenopause, postpartum or those who don’t respond to standard macro protocols the same way.
Not because macros don’t work for them. Because their hormonal makeup changes how the body uses fuel.
A coach who understands that doesn’t turn these clients away. They become the coach they’ve been looking for.
Gap 3: Undercharging almost never comes from not working hard enough.
It comes from not trusting your framework enough to back up your price.
When you know exactly what you do, why it works, and what happens when it doesn’t, the pricing conversation changes completely.
These three things are teachable.
They’re just not being taught anywhere else.
