High blood pressure doesn't always come with obvious symptoms, which is why knowing your numbers matters. The AHA/ACC national guidelines define hypertension as systolic ( your top #) over 130 and/or diastolic ( your bottom #) over 80. If your numbers are not lower than this you need to schedule an appointment to let us figure out why and help make recommendations to insure you stay within the optimal ranges.
Regular blood pressure checks can help you and your provider monitor changes over time and make informed decisions about your health.

Expecting a Call Back From Your Healthcare Provider?
Many smartphones now have settings that automatically silence or block calls from numbers that aren’t saved in your contacts. While these features can help reduce unwanted calls, they can also prevent an important healthcare call from reaching you.
If you’ve contacted an after-hours answering service and are waiting for a provider to return your call, please temporarily turn off settings that block or silence unknown callers.
A few tips while you wait:
- 📞 Keep your phone nearby and make sure the ringer is on.
- 📱 Temporarily allow calls from unknown or unsaved numbers.
- 📬 Make sure your voicemail is set up and has space for new messages.
- 🔄 If you see a missed call or receive a voicemail from your provider, return the call promptly.
Your provider may be trying to reach you from a number you don’t recognize.
A small change to your phone settings can help us connect with you more quickly when you need us. 💚
