Lauren is teaching a 2 series Childbirth Prep class in person at The Pump Station in Santa Monica 9/14 & 9/21 from 6-9pm.

Supported Birth Childbirth classes educate pregnant people and their support teams to make conscious choices about the birth of their baby, based on a combination of technical knowledge, confidence in the natural biological process of birth and different pain coping tools and techniques.

“Overall, the results highlight that when women are heard, informed, and actively involved, it doesn’t just improve how they feel about childbirth, it also positively shapes maternal and neonatal outcomes,” she said. “Even when medical interventions are needed, they’re more likely to understand and accept them.
