DAC is a group of caring individuals invested in educating about human trafficking in our communities: Warning signs, prevention, intervention, and related impacts on the victims of labor and sex trafficking. Reaching out to individuals, companies, organizations, and coalitions to learn about the human trafficking activities taking place today, right here in our Downriver Detroit communities. As a coalition DAC is a sub-committee of the Taylor Substance Abuse Prevention Task Force, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization supported by Corewell Health to unify and engage the 12 sectors in our hometown and neighboring municipalities to form a Strategic Prevention Framework (SPF) to combat and intervene on behalf of those affected by the devastating effects of drug- and human trafficking. What makes DAC most effective is our dedicated young Peer Educators, who reach out to high school and middle school friends with information and support to help them stay or get clean, sober, and safe.
