At Healing Forward, Liz Medina shared her powerful spoken word piece, "People Like Me," giving voice to the silent struggles that so many experience but few talk about openly.

Her words reminded us of the importance of compassion, connection, and checking in on those around us—and ourselves.

Drawing from his experiences as a veteran, first responder, and community leader, he shared insights on mental trauma, PTSD, and the importance of seeking support on the journey toward healing.

Healing begins when we acknowledge what we’ve been through and take the next step forward.✨

Gleaners is hosting drive-up food distributions this week, which are free and open to the public. Anyone in need of food is encouraged to attend and will receive over 35 pounds of nutritious groceries, like milk, fresh fruit, vegetables, lean protein, and other shelf-stable items while supplies last.
