🎉🎉 GIVEAWAY 🤍 Nourishing a Growing Family

We know there are about a million things to think about when you bring a new baby home.

Feeding the baby. Sleeping when you can. Healing. Laundry. Visitors. Figuring out your new rhythm as a family…

And somewhere in there, mom and the rest of the family need to eat too. 🤍

As moms ourselves, Dr. Olivia | Nervous System First Care & Ladle Me This | European Soups wanted to come together to take one thing off the plate of a local family welcoming a baby this fall: making sure there’s actually something nourishing ON the plate. 🥣🌿

We’re giving one Upstate SC family Ladle Me This’s most complete package — 16 items to help stock the fridge/freezer for those busy postpartum days:

🥣 12 nourishing soups — 16 oz each
🫙 3 broths — 1 quart each
🤎 Nourish Bites

Fully stocked. Fully supported. Ready for the busy days ahead.

TO ENTER:

🎉 Follow both Dr. Olivia | Nervous System First Care & Ladle Me This | European Soups
🎉 If you or your partner are expecting a baby in September or October 2026, comment “ME” below
🎉 OR tag a friend who is expecting during those months
🎉 One comment = one entry, so nominate as many growing families as you’d like!

We love supporting families who are building families — and sometimes support looks like caring for the people doing all that caring.

We often think health comes from one big change.

More often, it's built through the small habits that help us feel grounded, energized, and resilient.

These are your health anchors—the daily practices that help your nervous system and body adapt to life's demands.
There isn't a right or wrong answer.

✨ Which habits makes the biggest difference in how you feel?

Four hours of labor. Eight minutes of pushing. And a midwife who technically made it. 😂

This birth was completely different from my first—and yet one of my biggest takeaways had very little to do with how fast it was.

Our bodies are incredibly capable.

I couldn’t consciously tell my uterus how to contract, my cervix how to change, my hormones when to shift, or my baby how to take his first breath.

My job was to prepare well, trust deeply, and eventually surrender to physiology that God had already designed.

Birth doesn’t have to be easy to be empowering. Intensity doesn’t mean you’re incapable. And trusting your body doesn’t mean controlling every outcome.

If you’re pregnant and quietly wondering, Can I really do this?—I hope this story gives you one more reason to believe that you can. 🤍

And if you’re wondering whether this birth officially inducted me into the “labor is fun” club…

Absolutely not. 😂

The full birth story (including the almost-missed birth, my husband’s heroic battle with the birth tub, and a few fascinating pieces of pregnancy + birth physiology) is now on the blog.

Read the full story on my website.

All glory to God. 🤍

What Are You Creating This Season? 🌿

Instead of asking, "What's wrong with me?" or "What am I trying to avoid?" it asks, "What am I trying to create?"

More energy.
More resilience.
More connection.
More ease.
Greater capacity to adapt to life's demands.

Health isn't built in a single moment—it's shaped through the small, consistent choices we make each day.

The way you move, rest, nourish yourself, manage stress, and care for your nervous system all become part of the foundation you're creating for tomorrow.

🌱 Health isn't simply the absence of illness. It's the presence of adaptability, vitality, and the capacity to thrive.

In this season, what are you growing into? What kind of health are you cultivating—not just for today, but for the life you want to live? 👇 Tell us below!

Fertility & Healing Are Whole-Person Conversations 🌿

Whether you're preparing for pregnancy, hoping to conceive, or restoring and replenishing your body after birth, it's easy for the focus to become hormones, ovulation, timelines, and milestones.

Those pieces matter—but they aren't the whole story.

Your body is an interconnected system. Your nervous system, sleep, nourishment, movement, relationships, emotional well-being, and daily rhythms all influence your body's capacity to adapt, regulate, and thrive.

Rather than focusing on what's "wrong,” let’s shift our focus to be on strengthening what's already designed to support health.

By supporting the nervous system—the system that coordinates communication throughout your entire body—we help create the conditions for greater resilience, adaptability, and overall well-being.

Every body has its own story and every person deserves care that sees the whole picture, honors their innate capacity for health, and supports them with compassion along the way. 🤍

We've been taught to think of health as something we lose when symptoms appear—and regain when they disappear.

But what if symptoms are only one small piece of the picture?

Real health is reflected in how your body functions every day.
Do you have the energy to keep up with your kids?
Can you recover well after a busy week?
Are you sleeping deeply?
Can you stay present with the people you love?
Do you have the capacity to meet life's demands without constantly feeling depleted?

These are all signs of how well your body is functioning.

I want to understand how your nervous system is supporting every aspect of your health, because the nervous system coordinates and communicates with every organ, tissue, and system in your body.

Our goal isn't simply to chase symptoms. It's to support the function that allows your body to heal, adapt, and express its fullest potential.
Because when function improves, your health has the opportunity to improve, too.

If you've been told you're "fine" because your tests are normal, but you know you don't feel like yourself, it may be time to look beyond symptoms and explore how your nervous system is functioning. That's where nervous system focused chiropractic care can make a meaningful difference.

Do you think that having a regulated nervous system means feeling calm all the time?

It doesn't.

A healthy nervous system is designed to experience the full range of human emotions—excitement, challenge, stress, joy, sadness, and rest.

The goal isn't to avoid life's ups and downs; it's to move through them with flexibility and resilience.

Regulation isn't about staying calm.

It's about being able to adapt through life’s stressors.

When your nervous system is adaptable, you can meet life's challenges without staying stuck in survival mode. You recover more easily, connect more deeply, and engage more fully with the people and experiences that matter most.

We aren’t working to chase constant calm—it's about building a nervous system that's resilient enough to navigate real life.

Small, consistent habits that support your nervous system —quality sleep, nourishing food, movement, meaningful connection, time outdoors, and chiropractic care—helps cultivate greater adaptability over time.

✨✨ What does "feeling regulated" look like for you? I'd love to hear your perspective in the comments.

Summer is the perfect time to build habits that can carry you into the next season. You have a chance to experiment with routines that support your energy, nervous system, and family connection. Whether your goal is a smoother school year or lasting change, there is an opportunity to practice simple rhythms that support your whole family—

✓ Water before coffee
✓ Sunlight within 30 minutes of waking -no screens before then
✓ Protein at breakfast
✓ Move daily, outdoors when possible
✓ Family meals
✓ Screen-free wind-down evenings

The goal isn't to create a perfect or complex routine; it's to establish a few anchors that feel sustainable. Habits that can grow with you, providing stability and support so that when fall arrives, you'll already have a foundation in place instead of starting from scratch.

What would you add to this list?

Fertility isn't built through pressure or perfection. It flourishes in an environment where the body has consistent signals of nourishment, rest, connection, and regulation.

Here are some (fertility) habits that don't feel like work;
* Morning sunlight
* Protein-rich breakfast
* Evening walks
* Consistent sleep timing

These simple rhythms help support your nervous system and provide your body with predictable, health-promoting inputs. Over time, they can strengthen your capacity to adapt, recover, and function well.

This summer, focus on supporting your whole self—not just your fertility—with simple rhythms that help you feel grounded and well.

Ask yourself - "Can you interpret the signals your body is giving you?"

Did you know your body continually gives you feedback?
How do you feel when you wake up?
What happens if you skip your coffee or tea?
Do you have the energy you want throughout the WHOLE day?
Is there a meal that leaves you feeling great?

There is a difference between feeling fine and functioning well.

Summer has a way of inviting us into more of what makes us feel alive—more connection, more movement, more adventure, and more time outdoors. It's also a great opportunity to tune into how your body is functioning, not just whether symptoms are present. Health is more than feeling okay; it's having the energy, adaptability, and resilience to fully engage in the things you love.

Chiropractic care is one way we support that process, helping the nervous system communicate and adapt more efficiently so you have greater capacity to do more of what makes you feel alive!!
