Hey Parents of Pre-Teens/Teens! Has your child been asking about babysitting?
The Safe Sitter Course helps teens and young babysitters build confidence, responsibility, and real-life safety skills so they can care for children safely and successfully!
Taught by Vital Response Training Studio at the Transitions: Doula and Life Services office in Sioux Falls, this hands-on training covers essential babysitting skills including:
~Safety skills and injury prevention
~Basic childcare techniques
~Handling emergencies
~First aid basics
~Choking rescue and CPR awareness
~Behavior management and professionalism
~Building confidence as a babysitter
This course uses nationally recognized safety and emergency preparedness principles commonly aligned with programs like the American Heart Association and American Red Cross training standards.
