It’s not often I get to do a pinup and let me tell you…

She was a lot of fun to create

The prompt was pinup with an exposed rib cage and an anatomical heart inside - but not a zombie and needs glasses

This is what came of it 🖤

I always love taking on creative projects that allow me the freedom to design of my own accord

So don’t hate me for being behind… but I finally watched

My daughter and I had a roller coaster of a day yesterday and - after we both took a 3 hour nap - she sat in my lap and watched the entire movie with me while she ate my lunch

I laughed
I cried
I resonated with so much of this movie
And it inspired me to create something a little different

I’ve been building her an age-appropriate home school curriculum plan and our main focus right now is emotional intelligence
She’s developing a vocabulary around her emotions and feelings, her body, and her autonomy
This movie fell right in line with what we’ve been working on

All feelings are welcome, all actions are not

I wanted the simplest expression of the emotions depicted through my stained glass style
I wanted quotes specific to the movie - as best I could find
I wanted to create freely without putting expectations or barriers on myself
