Dear Lavish Studio,
I don’t really know how to say goodbye to something so special…
I started you as a dream. I built you from the ground up, one little decision, one client, one room, one risk at a time. I thought I was building a business, but the truth is, you were building me too.
You gave me confidence when I needed it. You gave me purpose, independence, friendships, memories, and proof that I could create something beautiful from nothing. You gave me a space to share my life not just the pretty parts, but the hard parts too. My struggles, my family, my faith, and God’s Word.
Somehow you became more than a beauty studio. You became a place where I could show up as myself and connect with people in ways I never expected.
And now I have to let you go. 💔
I’m walking away because something matters more right now.
My family needs more of me.
I’ve spent so long trying to keep up with everything at once business, hospital stays, caregiving, our move, life, and everything Aubrey needs. Somewhere in the middle of all of that, I realized I was stretched so thin that I wasn’t able to give my family the version of me I wanted them to have.
Aubrey needs more of me right now. Charlotte does too.
There’s something incredibly painful about leaving something you love, not because it failed, but because you’re choosing something you love even more.
That is a really hard goodbye.
My walk with God has changed through all of this too. I’m learning that sometimes faith means releasing something you love before you know what He’s replacing it with.
I know I’ll dream about the day I get to build something again. Maybe it’ll look nothing like you. Maybe it will. I have no idea. But you taught me that I’m capable of building something from the ground up.
So thank you, Lavish.
For every lesson. Every client. Every late night. Every friendship. Every hard season. Every conversation. Every prayer. Every moment I looked around and thought, “thank you God.”
And to everyone who has been part of this journey, I hope you’ll stay for the next chapter too. I’d love to bring you along with me.
California clients stay tuned. I’m not completely done just yet. 🤍
Love always,
Cici 🫶🏼
