Congratulations to Bambi, recipient of the NEMTAC Innovation in NEMT Award!

The Innovation in NEMT Award recognizes an organization or initiative driving measurable improvement through creative problem-solving or technology—and Bambi is doing exactly that.

Through AI-driven routing, smarter scheduling and dispatch, real-time visibility, and continued platform innovation, Bambi is helping NEMT providers improve efficiency, strengthen on-time performance, reduce administrative workload, and better serve the people who depend on reliable transportation to access care.

Most importantly, the impact is measurable. Providers report significant reductions in scheduling and dispatch time, improved operational efficiency, stronger on-time performance, and greater capacity to serve their communities.

Please join us in congratulating Bambi for demonstrating what innovation in NEMT can accomplish when technology is applied to real-world industry challenges.

Congratulations to M7, NEMTAC’s NEMT Provider of the Year!

The NEMT Provider of the Year Award honors a provider that consistently demonstrates an outstanding commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence—and M7 has the results to prove it.

With an average 94.76% on-time performance across more than 433,000 trips and a preventable accident frequency of just 0.31 per 100,000 miles, M7 has built a culture where safety and service are measured, monitored, and continually improved.

But M7’s impact extends well beyond the numbers.

From growing from 15 vehicles serving West Haven to approximately 200 vehicles operating across much of Connecticut, to expanding wheelchair-accessible transportation, launching microtransit programs, and developing transportation initiatives that help seniors and people with disabilities access healthcare, employment, groceries, and their communities, M7 has demonstrated what long-term commitment to mobility can accomplish.

Its use of driver training, vehicle-camera reviews, proactive risk management, and continued advocacy for accessible transportation reflects an organization that isn’t simply providing rides—it is continually working to improve how people move through their communities.

Please join NEMTAC in congratulating M7 and Jeremy Scalzi on this well-deserved recognition.

Congratulations to Provide A Ride, NEMTAC’s Broker or Payer Partner of the Year!

Great partnerships are built on more than moving trips. They’re built on trust, communication, transparency, and a shared commitment to the people we serve.

Those qualities came through loud and clear in the nominations for Provide A Ride.

Transportation providers praised the Provide A Ride team for keeping communication open, responding quickly when challenges arise, setting high standards for safety and service, and—most importantly—treating providers as true partners in delivering reliable access to care.

From supporting provider growth and improving on-time performance to strengthening safety programs and expanding transportation for vulnerable populations, Provide A Ride demonstrates the difference a collaborative broker relationship can make across the NEMT ecosystem.

Please join NEMTAC in congratulating Provide A Ride and key partners Gabe Erwin and Jak Groedel on this well-earned recognition!

Congratulations, Provide A Ride — NEMTAC’s Broker or Payer Partner of the Year!

Congratulations to Tom Sikkema, recipient of the NEMTAC Leadership & Advocacy Award!

Progress in NEMT requires leaders willing to do more than participate in the conversation. It requires people who advocate, educate, collaborate, and help move the industry forward.

The NEMT Leadership & Advocacy Award recognizes an individual or entity advancing the industry through policy, standards, and a commitment to equitable access to care.

Tom Sikkema exemplifies that leadership.

Through his advocacy and continued engagement with the NEMT community, Tom has helped elevate the conversation around the essential role transportation plays in healthcare—championing stronger standards, greater collaboration, and better access for the individuals and communities who depend on NEMT.

His leadership is a reminder that our work is ultimately about more than transportation. It is about ensuring people can reach the care they need, when they need it.

Please join NEMTAC in congratulating Tom Sikkema on this well-deserved recognition and thanking him for his continued leadership and advocacy on behalf of the NEMT industry.

Congratulations, Tom!
