🌻 Every Day Is Indigenous Peoples Day 🌎🪶
Today, I honor and celebrate my ancestors who walked before me, whose prayers, sacrifices, resilience, and wisdom continue to live within my blood, my bones, and my spirit.
I honor the generations walking beside me and those yet to come. May the seeds we plant today become the medicine and wisdom they inherit tomorrow.
For me, every day is Indigenous Peoples Day.
Every day is an opportunity to remember who we are, where we come from, and the sacred responsibility we carry to Mother Earth, one another, and the generations yet unborn.
We are the living prayers of our ancestors. We are their resilience, their strength, their dreams, and their continued becoming. 🌿
I reflect upon the Hopi teachings of the Brown Brother and the White Brother, and the possibility of humanity coming together again—not in separation, but in remembrance, reconciliation, and unity.
Perhaps our collective healing begins with decolonizing our minds, our hearts, and our spirits. Remembering Indigenous ways of living in relationship, reciprocity, reverence, and balance with all living things.
🤍 To think with our hearts.
To feel with our hearts.
To respond from our hearts.
To remember that healing is not only for ourselves, but for our families, communities, ancestors, and future generations.
This is my prayer. My offering to humanity, to all my brothers and sisters, and to the generations still dreaming their way into existence.
May we continue learning, growing, remembering, and walking one another home.
Ahéhee’ — Thank you to my ancestors, family, teachers, friends, and every beautiful soul who has walked beside me on this sacred medicine path.
May we continue to walk in beauty. Hózhǫ́. 🪶❤️
