Too much of medicine is still siloed.

A patient may see their primary care physician, physical therapist, sports medicine physician, radiologist, and orthopedic surgeon, yet those providers may not always have the opportunity to communicate with one another or see the same clinical picture.

The result? Sometimes the patient ends up being the one trying to connect the dots.

In this episode of Pain to Progress, I sat down with Dr. Colin Rigney to talk about how point-of-care musculoskeletal ultrasound can help bridge some of those gaps.

When you can evaluate the patient, correlate their symptoms with real-time imaging, and develop a treatment strategy in the same clinical setting, it can change the conversation.

Better communication. Better collaboration. Better answers for patients.

We don’t necessarily need more silos in healthcare. We need more connection between them.
