JJ's Journey JJ got Hypoxic Ischemic Encephalopathy at birth. He has a G/J Feeding Tube, and a Trach, & and is ventilator dependent .

He has Dystonia, Lennox Gastau Syndrome, and Epilepsy, as well as spastic quadriplegic CP, Dysautonomia, and several other diagnosis’.

It’s been a Monday for JJ.. He had a pretty bad seizure this morning and he’s been really agitated since.. I gave him his weighted pet that I recently got for him and it seems like maybe it’s helping him calm down. Do any of my other special needs mom friends have any methods or tricks that work to help calm down an agitated little person?

JJ has been having quite a few seizures for the past couple of days. This evening he had a bad one. I ended up having to administer both of his seizure rescue medications. And we swiped his VNS at least 6-8 times before it subsided. His body is soo worn out and suffering from all the seizures. This is soo heartbreaking and sad. It’s soo hard to watch him deal with this. Please pray that we can find some relief for him. Not sure why he’s having so many ..

Yesterday. I finally got him to calm down and relax and today he seems to be doing a lot better still having a couple breakthrough seizures, but at least he seems content and comfortable.
