What’s being applied to your skin matters.

At LÜM, we use Bushbeads™ Premium Hard Wax by Bushbalm. A professional, unscented hard wax formulated with sensitive skin in mind.

Its flexible consistency and superior grip allow it to effectively remove both fine and coarse hair while helping reduce cracking, breakage and the need for repeated passes. It also melts at a lower temperature, creating a gentler and more comfortable waxing experience.

From Brazilians and bikini waxing to underarms, legs, face and more, we intentionally selected a professional wax that supports beautiful results while respecting the skin.

These brows are ONE YEAR healed.

We did go ahead and give them a little refresh today, but after this, we’ll wait at least another 2 years before touching them again.

One of the biggest misconceptions with permanent makeup is that brows need to be touched up every year. If the shape still looks beautiful, the color is holding well, and the client is happy, we don’t need to continually add more pigment to the skin.

I actually want permanent makeup to soften and fade over time. Giving the pigment time to fade leaves us room to refresh the brows when they truly need it, rather than layering more and more color into the skin year after year. Sometimes the best thing we can do for your permanent makeup is leave it alone.

And I LOVE this color on her. It complements her natural salt-and-pepper hair beautifully without looking too dark or overpowering her features.

Good permanent makeup isn’t only about how beautiful it looks when it’s fresh. It’s about how it heals, fades, and ages in the skin years later.

Today we refreshed. Now we let them fade and age beautifully before adding anything more.
