UPDATE: Everyone’s response to our event has been phenomenal!! As of this morning, we have sold out of the large flowers!! We will take orders for additional ones, just not specific colors. We still have some small flowers on hand. Thank you again! This has been an amazing opportunity for our friends!!
Over the weekend, we shared a little hint about something special in the works with the help of our incredibly talented friends. Today, we’re proud to unveil our newest fundraiser: Jackie’s Garden.
Jackie was one of Happiness Bag’s most loyal and loving supporters for many years. She believed deeply in our mission — but even more, she believed in the opportunities our programs create for each of our friends. She also adored flowers… bright colors, bold creativity, and art that lets every artist shine.
To honor Jackie’s legacy, we’ve begun “growing” a garden of handmade flowers that will help provide even MORE opportunities each day. Every flower is lovingly crafted:
• Cut by Jackie’s husband, Denny
• Hand‑painted by our Day Program friends, each signing the petals they designed
• Assembled and prepared for sale to support our programs
We have two sizes available:
• 17" flowers – $25 (21 available)
• 33" flowers – $35 (7 available)
Patterns & colors schemes vary with each flower. Additionally, each flower comes with a hanger. To purchase your flower(s), please contact Jodi to make arrangements.
The sale of this first “bouquet” will fund three months of groceries for our teaching kitchen, STEM activities, crafting supplies, and at least one special monthly event for all of our friends.
