As you may know, AO Wellness Center also works with equine athletes using PEMF therapy. Alongside other dedicated professionals, we had the opportunity to work with this incredible horse as part of the team supporting her preparation for the AQHYA World Championship Show in Oklahoma City.

We’re proud to have played a small role in helping her feel and perform her best on the road to a championship.

Congratulations to Ms. C Judson and her equine partner on this outstanding accomplishment! Your hard work, dedication, and teamwork paid off. What an achievement!

💚 Massage Therapy and Edema 💚

Edema is swelling caused by excess fluid collecting in the body’s tissues. It commonly affects the feet, ankles, legs, arms, or hands and may leave the area feeling heavy, tight, stiff, or uncomfortable.

When medically appropriate, gentle massage techniques may help:

• Encourage healthy circulation
• Support lymphatic fluid movement
• Reduce feelings of tightness and heaviness
• Improve comfort and mobility
• Promote relaxation

At AO Wellness Center, every massage session is customized to the client’s individual needs. Gentle techniques may be used around swollen or sensitive areas, depending on the cause and severity of the edema.

Massage is not a substitute for medical care. New, sudden, painful, red, warm, or unexplained swelling should be evaluated by a healthcare professional before receiving massage therapy.
