-Pick Health. Grow Strength. Live Well.-

To celebrate Senior Health and Wellness Day, we lived out this motto with several vendors and volunteers to create a memorable day.

Our market included:
🫜A fresh fruit and vegetable platter beautifully made by our DFS, Darla Davidson
🌻A fun, fresh flower stand provided by our great friends at Elara Caring
🦙Saint Mary of the Wood’s White Violet Center Farm Store, with a fascinating loom demonstration!
🍓DIY produce stand
🐓Farm fresh egg gathering activity
🐄 T-shirt stand with our market logo to commemorate the event
🥦 Custom Jewelry made by our DOS, Alice Lopera
🍯Honey Tasting stand with honey from local hives
🥕 Pinwheel decorating booth, with option to decorate with uplifting words and market-inspired images
🌽 A Photo Booth designed and created by our very own balloon artist, Laurie Arbuckle
🪗Live music by Bob Warn in the courtyard

Clara once told us that she’s always wanted to square dance. With the help of the local Swinging Allstars group, she was able to do just that! What fun it was to see the joy on everyone’s faces watching her live her dream.

Thank you also to Elara Caring for providing western-themed cupcakes during the party!
