🌅 TODAY’S DEVOTION | Matthew 6:34
“Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.”
Today’s devotion is reminding me of something I’m learning: I have to release what I was never meant to carry.
Sometimes we love our family so much that we start carrying their problems, their pain, their struggles, and even their tomorrow. We pray, we worry, we try to fix things, and before we know it, we’re carrying something God never asked us to carry.
But God says, take care of today.
I can love my family today.
I can pray for them today.
I can support them today.
I can do what God has placed in front of me today.
But tomorrow? Tomorrow belongs to God.
Whatever my family may face tomorrow, God will give me the grace, wisdom, and strength needed for that day. I don’t have to borrow tomorrow’s strength today.
So today, I’m choosing to release the things I cannot control and trust God with the things I cannot fix.
I’m not giving up on my family. I’m giving my family to God. ❤️
And maybe someone reading this needs to do the same.
Stop carrying tomorrow.
Stop carrying what isn’t yours.
Stop trying to fix what only God can fix.
Handle today. Trust God with tomorrow.
