There’s something powerful about seeing a community come together for a shared purpose.

Our K2 Medical Research team recently joined the Walk to End Alzheimer’s in Orlando, alongside our families, friends and members of the Greater Orlando community.

As a clinical research organization, we see every day why continued progress in Alzheimer’s disease matters. But days like this remind us that the impact reaches far beyond research. It reaches families, caregivers and communities—and the people who are counting on a better future.

We’re proud to have walked alongside so many others who are committed to that future, and grateful for the K2 team members and families who showed up to support the cause. Together, we keep moving forward. 💜

You’re putting in the work. But sometimes, lifestyle changes alone aren’t enough.

Obesity is a chronic disease and, just like other chronic conditions, it can require ongoing clinical treatment to manage. Recent advancements have provided effective treatment options, but there’s still more to learn about the best ways to support people living with obesity.

We are grateful for every person who steps through the K2 doors.

In Nashville, our K2 team provided a 5-star experience for John, making sure he felt informed, supported, and confident in his next steps. Providing that level of care is an integral part of what we do.

Every person who participates in the research process contributes to furthering medical research and helping us move toward better options for the future.

Thank you, John, for sharing your experience and for trusting our Nashville team. We’re glad we could provide you with the peace of mind you were looking for!

This World Alzheimer’s Month, Carolina, a Community Connector at K2, shares why education in healthcare matters — especially when it comes to recognizing changes in memory and thinking.

If you or a loved one is experiencing symptoms of memory loss, K2 Medical Research offers no-cost memory assessments and opportunities to participate in research that can help advance potential treatments for Alzheimer’s disease and other conditions affecting memory.

We’re all in this together. Let’s break the stigma, start the conversation, and encourage our loved ones to take care of their brain health.

Happy World Pharmacists Day! 💊

Today, we’re celebrating the pharmacists who play such a critical role in clinical research and patient care at K2 Medical Research.

We’re proud to have pharmacists on our teams across our sites who bring their knowledge, expertise, and dedication to every study and every participant they serve.

To every pharmacist on our team and in our communities: thank you for the difference you make. 🤍

This World Alzheimer's Day, we're pausing to reflect—on the progress made, and the hope that lies ahead.

This is the work our K2 team shows up for every day: working to understand Alzheimer's, treat it, and move towards a future where it can be prevented.

That means being present in our communities. Talking openly about the signs and symptoms. Offering no-cost memory assessments. Helping people feel supported as they explore clinical research as an option for care.

Progress happens gradually, one study at a time. But it adds up to real change.

We're grateful to be part of that journey—and committed to continuing this work toward better options for patients, and one day, a future without Alzheimer's disease.

Meet Marcel Mehu, Lead Project Manager at K2 Medical Research in Orlando!📋

Since starting her career in clinical research in 2021, Marcel has grown through several roles at K2, from Research Assistant to Project Manager and now Lead Project Manager. Her background in Psychology and Neuroscience gives Marcel a unique lens into both the science behind clinical research and the people it impacts.

Outside of K2, Marcel loves to travel, watch films and go on bike rides. And for her, all of these experiences connect back to what makes clinical research so meaningful: being face to face with the community directly impacted by the treatments being tested and seeing how the work can improve their lives.

We’re grateful to have Marcel on our Orlando team and for the perspective she brings to clinical research.
