MINERALS + AMINO ACIDS — why do we need both?
We hear a lot about electrolytes, but amino acids are another important part of the picture.
Minerals help support things like fluid balance, nerve signaling and normal muscle contraction, while amino acids are the building blocks the body uses to make proteins, enzymes and other important compounds.
And remember—your digestive tract is full of muscle and has its own extensive nervous system.
That’s why I’ve become so interested in looking beyond simply “drink more water.” Hydration, minerals, amino acids and nutrition all work together.
This is one of the reasons I started bringing BEAM Minerals into my practice. I want people to understand why we’re using something—not just buy another supplement.
