🐾✨ Fun Friday was extra special today! ✨🐾

Our students had the sweetest visit from AJ, also known as “Snow White,” for a wonderful pet therapy experience! 🐶👑 From gentle pets and big hugs to lots of smiles, AJ brought such a calming and joyful presence to our classrooms.

It was beautiful to see our kiddos connect, engage, and simply enjoy the moment. We’re so grateful for experiences like this that support comfort, regulation, confidence, and connection in such a fun way. 💙

🪱🌱 Science Comes to Life in 1st Grade!

Our 1st graders have been learning all about living and nonliving things, and what better way to explore the characteristics of living things than with a real-life example—WORMS! 🪱🔍

Our young scientists had the opportunity to observe worms up close, examine how they move, and identify the characteristics that make them living things. There were lots of smiles, curiosity, and even a little bravery involved! 😊

At Step N’ Stones, we love turning lessons into hands-on experiences that help our students see, touch, explore, and connect learning to the real world.

Our Champions are preparing for their Community Share with an exciting Math + Creative 3D Art project—designing the draft plans for a future Step N’ Stones Academy! 🌱📐🎨

From measuring and calculating dimensions to designing rooms, hallways, learning spaces, and more, our students are seeing how math connects to real-world possibilities. And the best part? They’re presenting and explaining their vision to others! 💙

Today it may be cardboard, measurements, and a dream…but we’re speaking it into existence! 🙌🏽 One day, we hope to look back at these plans and say, “They envisioned it before we ever built it.” 🥹🏫

🏀 Learning, Growing & Having FUN at The LAB Sports Academy🏀

Today our Step N’ Stones kiddos had an AWESOME experience at The LAB Sports Academy! 💙❤️

Our students had the opportunity to get active, build confidence, and participate in a variety of fun basketball drills led by The LAB’s amazing team. From dribbling and movement activities to lots of encouragement and smiles, our kiddos had the BEST time! 🏀🙌🏽

We are incredibly grateful to The LAB Sports Academy for welcoming our students, meeting them right where they are, and creating such a positive and supportive experience for everyone. Moments like these give our students opportunities to try new things, develop new skills, and Bloom Beyond Expectations! 🌱🌸

🌱 Parents & Caregivers — our 2026-2027 Parent Class Series begins Tuesday, August 25th!! We’re kicking things off with Where There’s a Will, There’s a Way: Moving from “I can’t” to “How can I?” ❤️

Sometimes “I can’t” really means “I don’t see the way yet.” Whether we’re navigating finances, parenting, busy schedules, unexpected changes, or everyday challenges, it’s easy for worry to convince us that our options are limited.

During this fun, interactive 30-minute class, we’ll explore how to shift from scarcity to possibility by learning to:

What a wonderful way to celebrate our 5th academic year! Step N’ Stones Academy is honored to be featured in the Thomasville Times-Enterprise, highlighting five years of changing lives, supporting families, and creating a place where neurodiverse learners can thrive. 🌱

🌱📚 Our 3rd Grade Titans had a SWEET ending to their first week! 🧪✨

After an ELA week filled with stories about first-day jitters, our Titans wrapped things up with some delicious JITTER JUICE! 🥤 Here’s to a not-so-nervous second week filled with new learning adventures!

Then it was time for a sneak peek into SCIENCE! 🔬 Students explored ecosystems, habitats, and SOIL—then created their own fun, edible “soil layers.” 🌎🍫

We were excited to welcome Mr. Will Glenn, Community Engagement Coordinator for the City of Thomasville, to Step N’ Stones Academy! 🌱
