We are incredibly grateful to the Denton Orator for sharing our story and featuring Get Up & Glo Medspa on the front page.

For those who may not know, when we purchased the historic Smith Clinic, we weren't simply opening a business—we were preserving and reviving a meaningful piece of our community's history.

One of the most special moments since opening our doors happened recently when we had the honor of meeting Mrs. Jeanette Wilkie, a registered nurse who worked alongside Dr. Smith here in the clinic during the 1950s. Walking through the halls with someone who helped care for patients in this very building decades ago was a truly unforgettable experience and a powerful reminder of the legacy we now have the privilege to continue.

The story of this remarkable encounter—and the history behind the Smith Clinic—is featured in this week's Denton Orator.
