💊 MEDICATION MONDAY: BOOSTRIX® 💉

Our August Vaccine Spotlight continues! Since August is National Immunization Awareness Month, we're highlighting a different vaccine each Monday to help you stay informed and protected.

🌟 This Monday's Spotlight: BOOSTRIX® 🌟

Boostrix is a Tdap vaccine that helps protect against three serious diseases:

🦠 Tetanus – A serious infection that can enter the body through cuts or wounds.

🦠 Diphtheria – A bacterial infection that can cause breathing problems and other serious complications.

🦠 Pertussis (Whooping Cough) – A highly contagious respiratory infection that can be especially dangerous for babies and young children.

💉 Adults and teens may need a Tdap vaccination or booster based on their age, vaccination history, and individual circumstances. Tdap is also recommended during each pregnancy to help protect newborns from whooping cough.
