Last weekend, Dr. Michael Janssen, PA-C Rachel Weber and our AO Spine Fellow Dr. Michael Mousselli, attended the Global Spine Congress 2026 in Istanbul, Turkey. This is the largest collection of spine professionals in the world with more than 3,500 participants. Our own Dr. Michael Janssen delivered the keynote introductory lecture and 9 additional scientific lectures for the event. PA-C Rachel Weber did an amazing job balancing out the scientific program. The Center for Spine & Orthopedics is proud to be at the forefront of spine care globally and we are very passionate about presenting the latest techniques and technology in spine surgery as well as our collaborative efforts with key opinion leaders and spine surgeons around the world.

Dr. Janssen finished the 2026 Redbud Ride this past weekend in London, Kentucky. It is a 100-mile "Red Route" designed as a challenging century ride. During his ride, Dr. Janssen stopped his ride to reduce a dislocated shoulder and helped another rider who fell with a head injury. We love that Dr. Janssen stays so active doing the things he loves and is able to provide his medical expertise to other athletes along his many adventures.
