Evening shenanigans!!!

Pronking!

Pronking is a joyful, stiff-legged leaping gait where alpacas bounce with all four feet off the ground simultaneously, similar to skipping or "boing" movements. It indicates extreme happiness, playfulness, or excitement, often performed by young crias, especially around dusk.

This is my favorite when they do this! I could watch them forever!

Well, sadly our Mama Duck has only one baby left. We are thinking feral cats are getting in. 😭

We practice low-intervention, nature-led farming—allowing our animals to live freely while we provide basic shelter and space, honoring both the beauty and the realities of natural life.

Thankfully, Mom has enlisted Dad's help and Dad is doing a great job. He and another Mister keep having words through the fence! And Baby seems to run to Dad if it perceives danger. Let's cheer him on for survival!

Thordicus is slightly jealous... Demanding I hold his hand while we watch our little farm family.
