💗 No one should face breast cancer alone.

Today we're highlighting an incredible local organization, To Celebrate Life, whose mission is to support people facing breast cancer by funding direct and emergency services throughout the Bay Area.
Since 1996, To Celebrate Life Breast Cancer Foundation has provided grants to organizations that assist breast cancer patients and their families, with a special focus on underserved communities. Programs funded include emergency and financial assistance, diagnostic testing, transportation, support groups, complementary holistic therapies, meals, housing support, navigational services, and more.

When asked what caregiving means to her, Lucia shared:
“Caregiving is incredibly meaningful to me, as I truly value the human connection. I enjoy being there for my clients, helping them feel safe, cared for, and respected. Achieving any small tasks is a victory for both the client and I. The work is fulfilling for me when I know that I have made an impact, supporting them through both challenging and positive times in their journeys.
I find their stories and their resilient strength inspiring. Everyone’s story is different and it is an honor and privilege to be allowed in and be part of this chapter of their story.
