Why is scavenging waste nitrous gas during medical procedures so important? All studies have shown that occupational exposure to un-scavenged nitrous causes a 60% reduction in fertility in women and a significant increase in miscarriages. It can also lead to anemia, renal/hepatic problems, and ultimately neurologic diseases.
