Sometimes just being there for someone who's struggling can make all the difference. You can try:

-Listening without fixing: People don’t always need advice—they just want to feel heard. Practice active listening, no interrupting, judging, or trying to offer solutions.

-Validate what their feeling: Let them know it’s okay to feel whatever it is they’re feeling. Try “That sounds really hard” or “I’m here for you” statements.

-Check in with them regularly: Supporting someone isn’t a one-time thing. Follow up, and ask how they’re doing. Consistency can build trust and show you care.

-Respect their boundaries and encourage help: Give them space when it’s needed, but also gently remind them that seeking professional help is a strength—not a weakness.
