We’ve been keeping busy getting out in the community, spending time with friends, finding some good shopping deals, and hitting the bowling lanes! 🎳🛍️ We love seeing everyone out and about, making memories, trying new things, and enjoying life!

Thanks to Battalion Chief Matt Brixey with Toledo Fire & Rescue Department for our super fun, educational visit at Toledo fire station #6! Chief and the entire crew were so nice, so patient and so willing to educate us! We took the opportunity to teach them about us too!

They made time to help us all into the engine and help us all spray water! Wow... those hoses are high pressure!
They showed us how oxygen tanks work... along with 60 lbs of gear! They answered all of our fun questions!
Make sure you all support your local fire stations because they work so hard to support all of us!

💙 DSP Appreciation Week may be over, but our appreciation for our DSPs never stops! 💙

Last week we celebrated some of the most important people on our team — our amazing Direct Support Professionals! 🎉 We appreciate everything they do every single day to support, encourage, laugh with, and cheer on the people we serve. ❤️

And what better way to show just how awesome our DSPs are than to show you what the people they support have been up to?! 👀👇

Behind every outing, every new experience, every goal accomplished, and every big smile is a DSP helping make it happen. They encourage independence, create opportunities, and make sure the people they support get out there and LIVE LIFE the way they want to! 🙌

🌟 Meet Jesse! 🌟

Jesse played an important role in helping us get our Community Integrated ADS groups started. His desire to be part of a smaller group helped inspire the creation of these opportunities, and we are so grateful for his leadership!

Today, Jesse is proudly part of two of our Community Integrated groups! 💙 He is always on the lookout for new, fun, and exciting things to explore in the community.
