Friends, friends, friends… and ALL the fun lately! ☀️🎶🏖️

We’ve been making the most of every minute — concerts, wrestling, shopping trips, beach days, and lots of laughs with some pretty amazing people. Nothing better than making memories with good friends by your side!

We also celebrated Ladd’s birthday with a fun dinner surrounded by friends. Happy Birthday, Ladd! 🎉 Hope this year brings even more adventures, laughs, and great times.

So thankful for the memories, the chaos, the fun, and the friendships that make it all so special. ❤️

We have been having so much fun lately — enjoying the beautiful weather, spending time with friends, and making lots of great memories together! ☀️💙 From trips for ice cream, movie dates, park visits, and walks outside, laughter, and just enjoying each other’s company, there has been no shortage of smiles and fun. We love finding new ways to stay active, connected, and make every day a little more special!

We also want to say goodbye and good luck to Ethan as we support him in his future endeavors. While Jacob is sad to see him go, he made sure Ethan knew how appreciated he is with a special little goodbye and “thanks for all you do” celebration. 🎉

Thank you, Ethan, for all the laughs, support, and memories. Wishing you nothing but the best on your next adventure!

Please join us in congratulating Jill Brixey-Harrington on receiving the Community Partnership Award through the Lucas County Board of Developmental Disabilities ! 🎉

Jill was recognized for her work in helping bring Side by Side trainings to Lucas County. These trainings, bringing together DSPs and the individuals we serve to learn alongside, same topics, at the same time...side by side. Her dedication to collaboration, inclusion, and improving services continues to make a lasting impact on so many lives.

We are so proud of all the hard work Jill puts into making services the very best they can be each and every day. Congratulations, Jill — this honor is so well deserved!

At is May 18, 2026 meeting, the Board of Directors of the Lucas County Board of Developmental Disabilities recognized a retirement of a longtime secretary, named the Staff Person of the Month, and gave special recognition to a local provider's side-by-side training for staff and individuals served.
