QUICK HEALTH TRIVIA ๐Ÿง

Did you know your body can start preparing for a meal before the first bite even reaches your mouth?

Seeing or smelling food can trigger your digestive system to get ready.

Your body is constantly communicating between your brain and digestive system.

And that connection is one reason why your overall health is more interconnected than most people realize.

Your digestion isn't just about what you eat.

It's also about how your body responds to it.

The human body is pretty amazing.

Whatโ€™s one health fact you learned recently that surprised you? ๐Ÿ‘‡

FYI ๐Ÿ‘€

A cleanse isnโ€™t always as simple as โ€œkill the parasites and youโ€™re done.โ€

Thereโ€™s another part of the process that often gets overlooked:

What happens next?

Your body still has to process and eliminate whatโ€™s left behind.

Thatโ€™s why understanding the before, during, and after of a cleanse can be just as important as the cleanse itself.

If youโ€™ve tried a cleanse before and wondered why you felt worse, got temporary results, or ended up back where you started, this is something worth understanding.

Sometimes the missing piece isnโ€™t what you take.
Itโ€™s what you do before and after.

๐Ÿ‘‰ I explain more about this in my web class.

DID YOU KNOW? ๐Ÿง

Did you know that your gut isnโ€™t the only place where parasites can be found?

Parasites can exist in different parts of the body, and their presence may not always produce obvious or immediate symptoms.

Thatโ€™s one reason some people can experience unexplained problems for a long time without realizing there could be an underlying factor worth investigating.

Possible signs that may warrant a closer look include:

โ€ข Persistent fatigue
โ€ข Brain fog or difficulty concentrating
โ€ข Unexplained food cravings
โ€ข Digestive disturbances
โ€ข Changes in energy levels
โ€ข Recurring or unexplained symptoms

The important lesson is this:

A symptom is a signal, not necessarily the root cause.

Instead of continually treating each symptom separately, it can be valuable to step back and ask what underlying factors could be contributing to the way you feel.

Good health isnโ€™t simply about masking symptoms.

Itโ€™s about understanding what may be happening beneath them.

Sometimes she seemed better. Then the symptoms came back.

This ๐–๐ž๐› ๐‚๐ฅ๐š๐ฌ๐ฌ is what I wish I had when Trisha needed it.

NOBODY TALKS ABOUT THIS PART OF A CLEANSE.

Everyone talks about killing the parasites.

Very few people talk about what happens after you start.

You may think:

โ€œIโ€™ll just take something to kill them.โ€

But according to what Iโ€™ve learned over 43 years, thereโ€™s another part of the process that often gets overlooked.

Your body still has to deal with whatโ€™s left behind.

Thatโ€™s why some people say:
โ€œI felt terrible when I started.โ€

Or:

โ€œIt worked for a while, then everything came back.โ€

The question isnโ€™t always:
โ€œWhat can I take to kill them?โ€

Sometimes the better question is:
โ€œIs my body prepared to handle what happens next?โ€

This is one of the biggest things I want people to understand before they start another cleanse.

Because if you only focus on the killing phase and ignore the body's ability to process and eliminate the resulting burden, you may be missing an important piece of the picture.

The goal isnโ€™t just to kill something.

Itโ€™s to help your body move forward.

That overlooked part is something I explain in my web class, along with the hidden factors I believe can make parasite cleanses ineffective or difficult for some people.

๐Ÿ‘‰ If youโ€™ve tried cleanses before and wondered why they didnโ€™t work, join me for my web class.

Sometimes, the missing piece isnโ€™t the cleanse.

Itโ€™s what you do before and after it.

โ€œIs a liver flush actually safe?โ€

I get this question all the time.
And the answer isn't simply yes or no.

It depends on what's happening with your liver, gallbladder, and bile flow.

Here's something many people don't realize:

Bile does more than help digest fat.

Your liver produces bile, and bile also plays a role in carrying certain byproducts out of the body.

But the gallbladder matters too.

It stores and concentrates bile until it's released into the digestive system.
And that's where things can get complicated.

If someone has gallstones, stimulating the gallbladder can potentially cause a stone to move into the common bile duct.

Because that duct is narrow, a stone can become lodged there and cause the severe pain associated with a gallbladder attack.

There's another important difference:

What if you don't have a gallbladder anymore?

Your liver still produces bile.

But without a gallbladder, your body no longer has the same place to store and concentrate it.

So your anatomy and circumstances matter.

This is why I don't think a liver or gallbladder flush should be treated like a simple one-size-fits-all recipe.

What may be appropriate for one person may not be appropriate for another.

Especially when someone has a history of gallstones, gallbladder problems, or other liver-related concerns.

The important question isn't just, โ€œDoes a liver flush work?โ€

It's also:
โ€œIs it appropriate for this particular person?โ€

Before trying any liver or gallbladder cleanse, understand what's happening inside your body first.

If your best version of yourself disappears every afternoon, pay attention.

You wake up ready to go.

Coffee in hand.

You get through the morning.

You answer emails.
You finish your work.
You take care of the things that need to get done.

For a few hours, you feel like yourself.

Then something changes.

Around 2 PM, your energy starts slipping.

You reread the same sentence.

Simple tasks suddenly feel harder.
Your motivation disappears.

You start watching the clock.
And by 3 or 4 PM, youโ€™re not really working anymore.

Youโ€™re just trying to make it to the end of the day.

Maybe youโ€™ve convinced yourself itโ€™s normal.

โ€œEveryone gets tired in the afternoon.โ€

And thatโ€™s true.

But thereโ€™s a difference between feeling a little sleepy after lunchโ€ฆ
and feeling like your entire personality changes every afternoon.

The frustrating part?

You may have already tried to fix it.

But if the same pattern keeps showing up day after day, thereโ€™s another question worth asking:

Why does this keep happening at the same time?

Because the pattern can tell you something.

The point isnโ€™t to automatically assume thereโ€™s one explanation for everyone.

The point is to stop ignoring the pattern.

Because when something happens repeatedly, itโ€™s worth becoming curious about why.

Your afternoon crash may be more than an inconvenience.

It may be a reason to take a closer look at the bigger picture of whatโ€™s happening in your body.

So tomorrow at 2 PM, donโ€™t just reach for another cup of coffee.

Pay attention to the pattern.

Because your body may be trying to tell you something.

The interesting question isnโ€™t just why you crash at 2 PM. Itโ€™s why you keep crashing at 2 PM.

Iโ€™ll explore that question and much more in my web class.

If youโ€™re curious to learn more, COMMENT or DM me โ€œ2 PMโ€ and Iโ€™ll send you the details.

08/28/2026

I was sitting in a coffee shop when I heard a woman say, โ€œI haven't felt normal in years.โ€

She was sitting with a friend at the table beside me.

They were talking about getting older.

She laughed and said,
โ€œI'm tired all the time. My stomach is always uncomfortable. And if I eat something heavy, I feel terrible for hours.โ€

Her friend immediately replied,
โ€œThat's just what happens when you get older.โ€

That sentence caught my attention.

Because I've heard it so many times.

Someone feels bloated after eating.

They get headaches.

Their thinking feels cloudy.

They don't tolerate alcohol like they used to.

And the answer becomes:
โ€œYou're just getting older.โ€

But what if we asked a different question?

Why?

Your liver is constantly processing what enters your body.

Your gallbladder stores the bile your liver produces and releases it when you eat, especially when fats are involved.

So when digestion isn't working the way it should, I don't want to simply cover up the discomfort.

I want to understand what's happening underneath it.

That's why I believe symptoms deserve curiosity, not just an explanation.

Sometimes โ€œgetting olderโ€ is an explanation.

But sometimes it's just the end of the conversation when we should have been asking more questions.

Don't stop at โ€œthat's normal.โ€

Ask yourself:
โ€œWhy is my body doing this?โ€

That's the kind of thinking I teach in my web class, where I explain my approach to supporting the liver and gallbladder.

The first thing people usually blame is the food.โ€œI must be eating too much.โ€โ€œI need to cut out more fat.โ€โ€œMaybe my diet...
08/27/2026

The first thing people usually blame is the food.

โ€œI must be eating too much.โ€
โ€œI need to cut out more fat.โ€
โ€œMaybe my diet just isn't clean enough.โ€

But I remember talking to someone who had already changed almost everything about the way she ate.

She cooked at home.

She avoided processed foods.

She chose what she believed were healthy ingredients.

And yet, she still felt uncomfortable after meals.

That made me think about something we often overlook:

Eating is only half the story.

Your body still has to process what you put into it.

Your liver makes bile.

Your gallbladder stores it.

And when you eat fat, your gallbladder releases bile to help your body digest and absorb those fats.

So if digestion isn't working the way it should, simply eating โ€œhealthierโ€ may not answer the whole question.

That's why I don't just ask my patients,
โ€œWhat are you eating?โ€

I also want to understand:
โ€œWhat is your body doing with it?โ€

Sometimes, finding the missing piece starts with asking a better question.

That's the perspective behind the liver and gallbladder work I teach.

If you've been making healthy changes but still don't feel the way you expect to, don't automatically assume you're failing.

There may be more to the story.
