Creating space to slow down, breathe deeply, and reconnect with what matters most. 🌿

Ever have a plan and the day just says… nope? 😂

It’s easy to get caught up in how we thought things were supposed to go. But sometimes, you just have to meet what’s here, change direction, and keep going.

Today I’m taking that one quite literally.

Neighbourhood walk it is. ☔️🦋

Where in your life are you holding onto something that might be ready to change?

And what might become possible if you loosened your grip, even just a little? 🦋

In the words of Semisonic, “Every new beginning comes from some other beginning’s end.” 😉

Imagine waking up and asking yourself just one question:

What do I feel like today?

Maybe it’s movement in the morning and an afternoon by the ocean.

Maybe it’s exploring somewhere new, sharing a beautiful meal, laughing with those you’ve just met.

Maybe it’s a book, a nap, a long walk on the beach, or absolutely nothing at all.

There will be beautiful experiences to share at Exhale, but there will also be something we so rarely give ourselves enough of:

time that is simply yours.

Seven nights in Sisal, Mexico.
November 19–26, 2026. 💕

A few spaces remain. If you can picture yourself here, I’d love to have you join me. 🦋

DM me EXHALE and I’ll send you all the details.

There’s something about stepping away from your everyday life that creates space to hear yourself again.

To breathe a little deeper.
To move a little slower.
To remember what it feels like when nothing is asking anything of you.

That’s what Exhale is.

Not a week packed with things to do. Not a retreat where you need to show up a certain way.

Just space.

Space to move, rest, connect, explore, laugh, be quiet, stare at the ocean… whatever you need that day.

A seven-night wellness retreat by the ocean in Sisal, Mexico. Intentionally small, with space to truly settle in.

Gentle daily practices, nourishing meals, meaningful experiences and plenty of time that belongs entirely to you.

November 19–26, 2026.

If something in you is saying I need this, listen. 🦋

DM me “EXHALE” and I’ll send you all the details.

“I CAN’T MEDITATE.”

It’s one of the most common things I hear.

But what if that’s only because you’ve been taught that meditation has to look a certain way?

Meditation isn’t about having a perfectly quiet mind or getting it “right.” It’s about gently returning your attention to the present moment, again and again.

If you’ve ever felt meditation wasn’t for you, I hope this encourages you to see it a little differently. 🤍

Have you ever caught yourself thinking, “I can’t meditate”?

This was my favourite quote we wrote in one of the journals at Nourish & Nurture.

✨ Rest doesn’t have to be earned. ✨

A reminder I need… and maybe you do too. 🦋

Choosing trust over fear.
Allowing instead of forcing.
Presence over perfection.

This is 43! 💕🦋🙏

I hope I never lose my curiosity.

I hope I never reach a point where I think I’ve learned enough, know enough, or become too comfortable to try something new.

Being a beginner isn’t always easy. It’s awkward and humbling.

But there’s something beautiful about allowing myself to explore anyway.

One of the things that’s surprised me most while learning the handpan is that the more I think, the more I stumble. But when I soften my focus and let my hands flow, they almost seem to know where to go.

Not always… but often enough to remind me that sometimes I find my way not by thinking harder, but by trusting more.

It’s beginning to feel less like learning an instrument and more like a moving meditation - a quiet dance between listening, feeling, and letting go.

Here’s a little glimpse of me learning… mistakes and all. ☺️🦋

We came together to slow down.

To move our bodies, rest deeply, paddle across the lake, share nourishing meals, gather around the fire, spend quiet mornings in nature, and make space for both laughter and tears.

And slowly, something beautiful began to unfold.

Strangers became friends. Conversations became connection. Shoulders softened. Hearts opened. What began as a retreat became a community.

To everyone who joined us, thank you for trusting us, for showing up so wholeheartedly, and for helping create something so incredibly special. Our hearts are so full because of each of you. 💛

Next summer, we’ll gather once again - reconnecting with familiar faces, welcoming new ones, and continuing to nurture the connections we’ve been building together. We’d be honoured to welcome you.
