In Loving Memory: Honoring the Legacy of Vicki L. Ross.
​With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of a true cornerstone of our organization, Cove PREP.
​For many years, Vicki served our community with unmatched dedication, holding vital roles as our Program Supervisor, Milieu Manager, and Risk Manager. She was far more than an employee; she was the heartbeat of our program, a fierce advocate for safety, and a guiding light to everyone who walked through our doors.
​
​Vicki dedicated her life to creating a sanctuary for young people. She possessed a rare, fierce passion for ensuring that every child and teenager in our care felt seen, valued, and entirely safe.
As Milieu and Risk Manager, she worked tirelessly to build environments where youth could heal, grow, and simply be kids.
Her warmth, structure, and unwavering support touched the lives of countless youth over the years, leaving an indelible mark on their futures.

​Vicki’s impact extended far beyond the youth she served. She was deeply committed to molding, training, and inspiring our staff. She taught us how to lead with both strength and empathy.

Vicki poured her wisdom into our team, shaping us into better advocates, mentors, and professionals equipped to carry on her mission.
​She didn't just manage our environment; she protected our spirit. Vicki's drive to create a safe space for healing will forever be the standard we strive to uphold.
​​While Vicki’s physical presence will be profoundly missed, the foundation she built is permanent. We are committed to honoring her legacy by continuing to provide the high standard of compassionate, safe care that she championed every single day. Because of her the "Ross Award" was created.
