There are moments while writing my book when I have to stop and simply sit with my own heart.The words don’t always come from my mind. They come from places I thought had long ago healed… from memories that still carry emotion, from tears I didn’t expect, and from moments of grace that remind me how far I’ve cone. Some pages are difficult to write. But every page reminds me that our lives—even the broken places—can become something beautiful when we have the courage to tell the truth. I am deeply grateful for this journey. It is changing me as much as I hope it will one day touch someone else’s heart. ©

After seeing clients in the office today, I came home to work on my book. For decades, I have walked alongside others as they searched for truth, healing, and hope. More than 2,500 people have come through my doors, each carrying their own story. As I write these chapters, the words flow like poetry in motion, yet they carry the weight of so much pain. I have come to understand that there are wounds we do not simply “get over.” Instead, we learn to carry them with compassion and lean on Grace.
