I’m so tired that I’m delirious, so here is my cat. The older I get the less I want to share because it is mine, not yours, and what does it matter anyway that you know the intimate details of my life, stranger? Flesh, and blood, and bone, and the comfort of living breathing skin against skin. A breath that becomes laughter as it passes through the throat. This weekend my poetry journal was stolen out of my car. Thank goodness, in the deepest despair of last winter, I made time to copy them down through typewriter into a poem book I entitled “untitled love song”. Now, I am transcribing them into electronic format: Google docs. I much prefer the paper versions, but the cloud never gets stolen (that I know of) nor burned.

Went to a rare book festival. Learned a new word. Thauma can replace trauma in your life.

Thauma is a Greek word that means “wonder” or “marvel”. It can refer to an object that causes wonder or to a more general feeling of wonder.

My new goal in life is to be a Thaumaturgian. Wish I bc like afford this book. 📚 😉
