Facial asymmetry is normal. Almost no human face is perfectly symmetrical. As we age, fat pads descend unevenly, bone remodels, skin elasticity changes, and this tends to increase asymmetry over time.

With all the attention-seeking rage baiting and exaggerated buzz about filler being hard, not dissolvable, lasting forever, or migrating, even injectors that use social media as their prime source of medical information believe this.

How do you define subtle? “Less is more” is a design and lifestyle philosophy emphasizing that simplicity, minimalism, and intentional reduction lead to greater aesthetic beauty, and personal fulfillment. We currently have 7 fillers FDA-approved for the lips among the 20+ H.A. fillers currently available in the U.S.

The upper to lower lip golden ratio for many is 1:1.618. This patient wanted a subtle vertical height increase of her upper lip that would show more pink mucosa. This would evert the upper lip margin slightly but naturally. The nasolabial distance or philtral length would also appear reduced.
