Happy Nurses Week!

Tonya S. Dresher, MSN, RN, is a dedicated nursing professional with more than 30 years of healthcare experience. She began her career as a CNA in 1993, became an LPN in 1994, and earned her RN in 2002. She recently completed her Master of Science in Nursing with a specialty in Public Health, further strengthening her passion for advocacy, education, and quality resident care.

As Nursing Coordinator for Mi Casa Care Homes, LLC, Tonya is committed to providing compassionate, resident-centered care while supporting staff development, regulatory compliance, and quality improvement initiatives. She is known for her hands-on leadership style, attention to detail, and dedication to creating a safe and respectful environment for residents and caregivers alike.

Outside of nursing, Tonya enjoys spending time with family, fishing, gardening, and continuing to learn and grow both personally and professionally.

Mi Casa Care Homes is looking for someone who brings energy, creativity, and heart into everything they do. This is not your typical role—this position is all about creating meaningful, engaging days for our residents while helping them stay connected to the community.

💛 What You’ll Do:

Plan fun, engaging daily activities & monthly calendars
Take residents on outings (shopping, lunch, events, etc.)
Bring in interactive experiences to the home
Transport residents to appointments safely
Support residents during activities and outings

🚗 What You Need:

Must be willing to drive residents to appointments and outings
Valid driver’s license
A positive, patient, and creative personality
