Company-provided malpractice + fully sponsored Functional Medicine Certification (SAFM)
A genuinely differentiated, terrain-based model — longer visits, real root-cause medicine.
About Us
WOW Wellness Center and Root Cause Metabolic Cancer Center are sister practices built on a shared, terrain-based philosophy of medicine. WOW Wellness Center is our functional and integrative medicine practice — root-cause work spanning metabolic health, terrain optimization, and supportive therapies. Root Cause Metabolic Cancer Center is our specialty arm, dedicated to metabolic and terrain-based oncology for patients with active cancer, recurrence risk, or complex oncology histories. Both are led by Jennifer Bull, MS, FNP-C — trained in the Metabolic Terrain framework of Dr. Nasha Winters and grounded in a surgical oncology background. We practice slow, thoughtful medicine: longer visits, deeper workups, real root-cause thinking, and genuine partnership with each patient.
Position Overview
We're seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to provide care across both practices — aesthetics, functional, and longevity medicine at WOW, and specialized metabolic oncology at Root Cause. This is an ideal role for a provider who values autonomy and mentorship in equal measure, enjoys investigative medicine, and wants to build meaningful, long-term patient relationships outside the constraints of high-volume, insurance-based care. The position is part-time or full-time, as we are looking for the best candidate and fit.
What You'll Do
Provide direct patient care and education across aesthetics/functional/metabolic wellness and a dedicated oncology population.
Apply a terrain-based, metabolic framework — terrain optimization, cancer-metabolism education, and adjunctive supportive care
Order and interpret functional, specialty, and oncology labs; build individualized, physiology-based plans.
Manage integrative protocols, including nutritional and ketogenic strategy, targeted supplementation, and IV/adjunctive therapies as indicated
Coordinate care thoughtfully with oncology, surgical, and integrative providers.
Support patients navigating complex treatment decisions with clarity and compassion.
Maintain timely, accurate charting and billing (with administrative support available)
Help uphold a clean, safe, and compliant clinical environment.
Who This Is For
Active Maryland Nurse Practitioner license
Maryland DEA and CDS registration (or willingness to obtain)
Current BLS certification.
Strong clinical decision-making and patient-centered communication skills.
Comfortable working within a specialty, cash-pay practice model.
Genuine interest in functional, integrative, and metabolic medicine and terrain-based care.
Preferred Qualifications
Training in functional or integrative medicine (SAFM, IFM, A4M) or the Metabolic Terrain — helpful, but not required; we sponsor your Functional Medicine Certification.
Prior oncology, surgical, or complex-care experience.
Nurse Practitioner experience at least 3 years.
Compensation & Benefits
$55–$75/hour based on experience, part-time to start with a clear path to full-time (patient care, treatments, and administrative time)
Quarterly performance bonus.
Company-provided malpractice insurance.
Fully sponsored Functional Medicine Certification (SAFM) — no prior certification required; to be completed within 18 months of starting.
Continuing education support.
WOW Wellness Center / Root Cause treatments available to you at company cost.
Paid orientation and training, with a mentored ramp to independent practice
Why Join Us
A genuinely differentiated model — terrain-based, metabolic medicine, not high-volume protocol care.
Extended appointment times and the space to think deeply about each case.
Direct mentorship across two intellectually rigorous, specialized practices.
Daytime schedule — no nights, weekends, or call.
Meaningful, long-term patient relationships.
A Note on Scope
This role spans two related practices: aesthetics, functional, and metabolic medicine at WOW Wellness Center, and specialized metabolic oncology at Root Cause Metabolic Cancer Center. The Root Cause patient population is intentionally limited to individuals seeking specialized, cancer-focused clinical support, and that work is materially distinct from generalized aesthetic medicine.
Limitations & Acknowledgement
The above is intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed. It is not intended to be construed as a comprehensive list of all responsibilities, duties, and skills required for the position, which may evolve with the needs of the practices.
