The evidence is there! Cannabis is a very dangerous drug that is irreversibly destroying the mental health of our society. The fact that it is legal in most states and therefore more widely accessible and acceptable is adding insult to injury. Please educate yourself, friends, family and colleagues. Medicinally, it should only be used in end stage solutions for palliative care.

Summer gardens are overflowing with some of nature's most powerful medicines. Here are three nutritional superstars to add to your plate this week!

**Eat the Rainbow—Straight from the Garden**

One of the greatest joys of summer is walking into the garden and harvesting fresh ingredients for lunch. Today's colorful salad was built on a bed of homegrown Buttercrunch lettuce, vine-ripened tomatoes, and freshly pulled carrots, then topped with creamy avocado and garlic-seared tofu finished with a sprinkle of Furikake.

The finishing touch? My favorite homemade **Carrot & Ginger Dressing**—a vibrant blend of fresh vegetables, warming ginger and turmeric, sweet white miso, and a few wholesome ingredients that transform an ordinary salad into som**hing truly extraordinary.

Not only is this salad bursting with color, but every bite is packed with vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, healthy fats, phytonutrients, fiber, and plant-based protein. This is what I mean when I say **Nutrition is Primary Care**.
