Good morning! I wanted to thank everyone for taking the time to say Happy Birthday, call or send a message wishing me an amazing day. Thank you so much.
This birthday was not one I was looking forward to and had a mindset that 65 was dooming for some reason. WTH, the big significant change was I received Medicare 😂. I spent the entire month of July letting my age eat at me. I am still me. I am still happy as I've ever been. I have the most amazing 3 sons who I continue to get to share my life with, grandchildren who are getting too old to spend time with Granny, but when I get them, we have a fantastic time. I get to spend time with good friends, laugh, share memories, remember those who have gone on to their next lives and we've lost. I get to look in the mirror each day and know the wrinkles are there, gray hairs are multiplying like damn rabbits, waistline is going by the wayside, gravity is taking it's toll but I'm still active, mobile and I love my life. I get to teach and continue my yoga practices, work with so many who need healing. I work long, continuous hours on a 501c3 rescue with an amazing group of humans saving Bernese Mountain Dogs. What more could I possibly ask for. I do have an ask of those of sending birthday wishes. Stop what you are doing this moment, that is if you read this far 🤗, take a long deep breath, think about all you have to be grateful for in this amazing life we've been blessed with. Life is too short to worry about the things that are out of our control. Smile and continue on living life to the fullest. If no one has said I love you today, I love you 💗 and thank you for making me smile on my 65th.
