💙 WHAT AN AMAZING DAY! 💙

Today’s Lead Awareness Day – Back to School Edition brought our community together for an afternoon focused on education, prevention, family resources, and preparing our children for a healthy and successful school year. 🎒📚

With the support of Mayor W. Reed Gusciora, Health & Human Services Director Carlos Diego Minacapelli, MD, our community partners, City staff, and everyone involved in making this event possible, families had the opportunity to learn more about lead awareness and prevention while enjoying activities, resources, and back-to-school support.

It was wonderful to see so many families and community members come together at Unity Square Park. 💙

Here’s a look back at some of the moments from today! 🎥✨

Our teams, including Animal Shelter, Social Services, Health Promotion, and other dedicated units, were excited to showcase the resources available to support the health, safety, and well-being of Trenton residents. Knowledge is the first step to prevention.

Hepatitis B and C can affect anyone, and many people don’t know they’re infected because symptoms aren’t always noticeable. Getting tested, staying informed, and getting vaccinated against Hepatitis B can help protect your health and the health of those around you.

💚 Early detection saves lives.

CommunityHealth HepatitisB HepatitisC
