Carmel is on the road to becoming a pioneer in the progressive model of Integrated health care in Southern Colorado. In addition, a wide-variety of wellness programs are in the works at Mt. Carmel which will address several areas of health including the prevention and management of chronic disease, weightloss, tobacco cessation, exercise, substance abuse and much more. In addition to physical and

behavioral health, Mt. Carmel will nurture the spirit of the community by hosting a variety of events, celebrations and educational and spiritual workshops. By encouraging and building community togetherness, Trinidad will thrive once again. Finally, a place for mind, body and spirit.
