CONGRATULATIONS to our July Employee of the Month—Laura Dowell RN! Laura has been a nurse for almost 20 years and came to us with a variety of experience. She has worked for us in multiple roles but is currently a QA nurse working on her coding certification. She also manages wound care supplies and fills in wherever needed. Laura is knowledgeable in so many areas!
Laura is a dog lover. In her free time, Laura enjoys traveling.
We are so fortunate to have Laura on our team!

We want to give the biggest shoutout and Happy Birthday to this guy, Tony Jackson!! He comes into the office every morning to do his notes and while he’s here he usually makes it his mission to scare a person or two. Life is definitely more fun and unpredictable with him in it, lol. His patients certainly can’t get enough of him and say nothing but good things about him. We are so lucky to have him our team here at Cedar Lake. We hope you have the best day today Tony. You deserve it!!

💦Stay hydrated with plenty of water with maybe even some electrolytes added. Coconut water is a great hydration liquid.

☀️Avoid being out in the middle of the day. If you have to do anything outdoors, do it early in the morning or late in the evening and take frequent breaks in the shade.

👚Wear light colored, loose fitting clothes.

CONGRATULATIONS to our June Employee of the Month—Corena Armstrong LVN! Corena has been with us almost 10 years! She is not only a very knowledgeable nurse—she is extremely thorough and thoughtful as well. She is always willing to help our newer nurses if they need guidance or cover for team mates that need the day/week off.
Corena loves the beach, crafting and spending time with her grandbabies!
