We get asked this ALL the time: “Why Manuka? Why not just use local honey?” 🍯
And the answer is… we love local honey. This isn’t an either/or situation. They just aren’t necessarily being used for the same reason.
What makes Manuka different is something called MGO (methylglyoxal): one of the compounds responsible for Manuka honey’s distinctive antibacterial activity. And Manuka can actually be graded based on how much MGO it contains.
The Manuka we carry at the club? 600+ MGO. 👀🍯
So yes, it’s honey. Yes, it tastes freaking delicious. 😂 But when we’re choosing Manuka, we’re choosing it specifically because of what makes it different, not just because we needed something sweet.
And apparently the club kids have caught on. 😂
School is back, everyone is sharing EVERYTHING again, and we officially have club kids requesting that Mom bring the Manuka home. If you know kids… that’s saying something. 😂👏
We’re big believers in having simple, whole-food tools in the house that the entire family will actually use, and this has become one of them.
600+ MGO Manuka is stocked at the club. 🍯
Come grab a jar, and yes, you absolutely do NOT have to be a member to shop with us.
