Impact in Action: August
As summer comes to a close, we’re looking back at some of the moments shared across the VersiCare family of companies.

It’s been a full season — time spent in the community, new experiences, celebrations, connections, and plenty of fun. And behind each of these moments are dedicated teams creating opportunities for the individuals we support to participate, connect, and enjoy the communities around them.

We’re proud of the work happening every day across our organizations and grateful for the people who continue to make it possible.

A great summer to look back on, and plenty of momentum to carry with us as we finish 2026 strong and continue Helping People Succeed.

The VCG Executive Leadership Team took on Kentucky! 📍 Our annual leadership meeting gives us an opportunity to step away from the day-to-day, spend focused time together, and look at the bigger picture across VersiCare Group.

There was a lot to reflect on, from the growth and accomplishments we’ve seen so far this year to the work happening every day across our organizations and services. Most importantly, we spent time talking about the people and the teams behind that work and how we can continue to support them, remove roadblocks, and give them what they need as we finish 2026 strong and carry that progress into 2027.

We were also joined by Robert Avinger Consulting for team development, bringing new perspectives to how we communicate, collaborate, and continue to grow as leaders.

We left with clear priorities, great conversations to build on, and plenty of work we’re excited to continue.

Here’s to finishing 2026 strong and continuing to Help People Succeed!

Meet Heather Lesogor, Director of Business Development at VersiCare Group! 👋 With 15 years of experience in healthcare growth and acquisitions, Heather has built her career around relationships, collaboration, and supporting owners and founders as they navigate change.

For Heather, success is about creating partnerships that still feel like the right decision a year later, five years later, and beyond. She understands how much heart and soul owners pour into what they’ve built and believes growth should honor that legacy while creating positive outcomes for employees, the individuals being served, families, and everyone involved.
It’s an approach that fits naturally with how we think about growth at VCG. Heather brings the experience to identify the right opportunities while understanding and respecting what makes each organization unique. She works closely with owners, partners, and our teams to help VCG grow in a way that stays true to our mission and culture.

Outside of work, Heather is a proud dance mom who loves watching her daughter’s confidence and passion for dance grow, and she still takes the occasional class herself! 💃 She’s also a devoted dog mom to Jack and Louie. 🐾 And when it’s time to “relax,” you’ll probably find her watching a murder mystery or listening to a true crime podcast. 🔎

We’re proud to have Heather on our senior leadership team, bringing her experience, perspective, and people-first approach to our continued growth and our mission of Helping People Succeed.

Summer didn't slow us down. Across our family of brands, July was filled with growth, celebration, and opportunities to strengthen the communities we serve.

This month:
🔹 Marpe Therapy Services connected with individuals, families, and community partners at the annual PossAbilities Expo, sharing more about its expanded services across Kentucky

🔹 ExpertCare and VersiCare Group celebrated our incredible teams during our annual summer gathering, a chance to recognize the incredible people who make our mission possible every day.

🔹 Community Resource Network of Florida, LLC celebrated one of its largest graduation days yet, recognizing individuals for reaching important milestones and achieving their goals.

We're looking forward to what's ahead as we continue supporting individuals, families, and communities across our network.

Celebrating 15 years of leadership, compassion, and unwavering dedication. 💙 We're proud to celebrate Michelle Nunley, Director of Adult Day Training Programs at Community Resource Network of Florida, LLC, on her 15-year anniversary!

Over the past 15 years, Michelle has helped shape CRN into what it is today. From expanding programs, growing our Prevocational services, and helping launch our Daytona Beach location to championing best practices, continuing education, and innovative programming, her leadership has left a lasting mark on our organization.

But what makes Michelle truly special is the way she leads. She knows each and every individual across all three Adult Day Training programs, greeting them with a smile, a hug, and a conversation. Whether she's advocating at the Capitol, supporting community events, mentoring staff, or helping shape the future of our programs, Michelle leads with compassion, integrity, and an unwavering commitment to those we serve.

Her impact can be seen not only in the growth of our programs, but in the countless lives she's touched along the way. Her leadership has built a legacy that will continue to shape CRN for years to come.

July 26 marked the 36th anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), a landmark civil rights law that helps ensure people with disabilities have equal rights and opportunities in all areas of public life.

This July, we've celebrated the progress the ADA has made possible while recognizing the importance of continuing to build more accessible and inclusive communities for everyone.
