Dr. Danielle DeLuca-Pytell, Your Girlfriend the Plastic Surgeon

Dr. Danielle DeLuca-Pytell, Your Girlfriend the Plastic Surgeon Your Girlfriend the Plastic Surgeon®: a boutique plastic surgery office in Troy, Michigan excelling in Chances are, I am a lot like you.

I am a wife, mom, and native Metro Detroiter who loves 80’s music. After almost fifteen years of plastic surgery practice, I opened my own solo practice in January 2019. My goal is to offer high-quality plastic surgery in a relaxed and comfortable environment that doesn’t feel like most doctor’s offices. A patient myself, l know how it feels to be on the other side of the examination table. I have

designed an office with that in mind. My own medical experience nudged me to change career paths from the arts to medicine. It wasn’t until after I graduated from college that I decided to pursue becoming a doctor. After a postbaccalaureate year of study, I applied to medical school and chose Michigan State University (Go Green!) College of Human Medicine for its unique patient-based curriculum. During medical school, I got married (and hyphenated). Though I initially thought I would become a family practitioner, I loved that I could use my hands and my mind in surgery. I went on to complete my residency in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. That year, only 70 medical students in the country were selected to go directly into the study of plastic surgery without completing a general surgery residency first. Following my residency (and the birth of my first child!), I completed a Cosmetic Surgery Fellowship at the Institute of Aesthetic Surgery and Medicine in Mount Kisco, New York. There, I began my career and succeeded in becoming Board Certified, passing perhaps the most rigorous examination process in all of medicine. After nine years of practice, two hurricanes, and the birth of two more children, I returned home to Michigan. I specialize in breast and body contouring, both cosmetic and reconstructive, surgical and nonsurgical facial rejuvenation, surgical and nonsurgical female intimate rejuvenation, breast reconstruction for women with breast cancer, and cosmetic surgery after weight loss. I maintain a passionate commitment to high-quality patient care. Patients are enveloped in a safe and caring environment, one where both l and my staff provide complete and continuous support from start to finish. Combining art and science with compassion and understanding, I offer patients a life-changing opportunity for improvement, both externally and internally. My practice is not just about physical change, but about overall life enhancement.

Scars are a part of surgery, but they’re also a part of the healing process.

I know that for many patients, the thought of a scar can feel intimidating. While we can’t make a scar completely disappear, we can support the healing process and minimize its appearance over time.

The biggest thing to remember? Scars take time. They can continue to change and fade for months as your body heals.

Have questions about scarring or your healing process? Schedule a consultation with us; I would love to talk through what you can expect. 🤍

Swelling is a normal part of the healing process after surgery, and yes, everyone will experience some degree of it.

It can be surprising to look in the mirror early on and think, “Is this how I’m going to look?” But the answer is: not yet.

Your body needs time to heal. Over the next few weeks and months, swelling will gradually improve, and your results will continue to settle.

Healing doesn’t happen overnight. Be patient with your body and remember: you’re still in the middle of the healing process. 🤍

If you’re considering surgery and have questions about recovery, schedule a consultation with us to talk through what to expect every step of the way.

Dolly Parton said it herself… Your face, your body, your business. 💗

Ands she’s absolutely right! 💗

What you choose to do or not to do with your body is yours alone. My job is not to tell you what you need. It is to listen to what you want and support whatever decision you make. 💗

A mommy makeover is about more than changing your bod; it’s about helping you feel more like yourself again. 🤍
Pregnancy and breastfeeding can change your body in ways that diet and exercise alone can’t always address. That is not failure. That is just what happens. The good news is there is something we can do about it!
A mommy makeover can be customized to your goals and may combine procedures to address the areas that matter most to you.
Every body and every recovery is different, so your plan should be, too.
Ready to explore what might be right for you? Schedule a consultation to start the conversation.

After surgery, sleep is not laziness; it’s medicine.

Your body does its best healing when you are resting. Rest is not a suggestion; it’s biology. If you feel like all you want to do in the first few days of surgery is sleep, you are doing the exact right thing.

Give yourself permission to slow down. The recovery is part of the result.

Have questions about what to expect during your recovery? Drop them in the comments or reach out to us!

When someone comes in and says, “I think I need a facelift,” that doesn’t always mean a facelift is the answer.

Every face is different, and sometimes the changes a patient wants can be addressed without jumping straight to surgery. Other times, a facelift may be the right option, but that’s something we figure out together.

My job isn’t to sell you a procedure. It’s to listen to what you’re hoping to change, assess your face as a whole, and recommend what makes the most sense for you.

You don’t need to know what procedure you need before you walk through the door. That’s what the consultation is for. ✨

Sometimes, a patient comes to see me after having surgery somewhere else.

The surgery may have been technically successful, but she simply doesn’t love the way she looks. And that’s something I take seriously.
Revision surgery isn’t about criticizing the surgeon who came before me. It’s about listening to the patient, understanding what feels “off” to her, and figuring out what can realistically be improved.

Every revision is different, and sometimes the answer isn’t another surgery right away. But when there’s a path forward, we work together to create a plan that feels right for her.

Because at the end of the day, it’s about helping her feel like herself again.

If you’re unhappy with a previous result and wondering what your options are, schedule a consultation. Let’s talk about what’s possible.
