Inspired Life with Jeremy Ann Anderson

Inspired Life with Jeremy Ann Anderson ~ your portal to an inspired life of joy and wellness, in balance and harmony with nature ~ We are out of sync with our natural rhythms. Namaskar ~

A Clinical Ayurvedic Specialist and Pancha Karma Specialist, Jeremy graduated valedictorian from the California College of Ayurveda, the country’s premier school of Ayurveda. She also received certification from the American Institute of Vedic Studies in Ayurvedic Health Sciences and Phillip's School of Massage. Upon graduation in 2005 Jeremy was brought on as faculty at the College and continues

to serve there as a Master Teacher of the Distance Learning Program. Jeremy has been a student of herbs, aromatherapy, and alternate healing modalities for many years. It was clear that her path was to Serve through healing, but it was when she discovered the ancient science of Ayurveda that she recognized immediately how that was to manifest. Ayurveda, the oldest continually practiced medical system in the world, is a truly holistic science, treating the cause of disease at its roots and allowing healing to occur on all levels, body, mind and spirit. Through the wisdom of Ayurveda, Jeremy is able to aid in the process of bringing health, wellness and balance to the world. She believes that many of the ills of society are due to our increasing distance from nature. Ayurveda can bring us back into balance with nature and within ourselves. Through this knowledge we gain a greater understanding of who we are, and that which creates harmony and disharmony, thus allowing us to live our truth and bliss. This profound science is her passion and she is honored to aid you on your path toward optimal health and peace of mind. Jeremy began her practice, Annapurna Ayurveda, at the Conscious Living Rejuvenation Center in Reno. She worked in collaberation with a Naturopath, specializing in Pancha Karma, from '05 to '07. In 2007, Jeremy and her growing family moved to Crestone, Colorado, where she ultimately opened a healing center, Ancient Arts Wellness Center. The Ancient Arts Wellness Center was home to Jeremy's practice, Annapurna Ayurveda, as well as the Ancient Arts Midwifery, the Ancient Arts Apothecary, and a massage therapy practice. This healing center was a beautiful collaboration of sacred healing modalities and gifted healers, and Jeremy found great joy in offering her Ayurveda practice through this portal. Presently, Jeremy and her family have returned and put down their roots in the Truckee/Tahoe region. Jeremy graciously offers her practice to those who find themselves on the Ayurvedic path ~ through in-patient visits in Truckee, California, or via FaceTime, Zoom, or phone visits ~ all are welcome on this Divine journey of remembering our true nature through the ancient wisdom of Ayurveda. She is seeing patients at Tahoe Yoga and Wellness Center, in Truckee, CA. Her practice has expanded and evolved into Inspired Life with Jeremy Ann Anderson ~ encompassing within it Inspired Ayurveda, Inspired Natural Medicinals, Inspired Adventure Tours, and Inspired Nature Immersion Retreats. I don’t generally put out product endorsements…but maybe that should change, because there are some things I genuinely use, trust, and love. And if something supports me deeply in my work, travels, adventures, cleanses, and everyday life, then maybe you should know about it too.

Electrolytes matter.

We lose minerals constantly through stress, travel, exercise, flying, sweating, cleansing, sauna, caffeine, illness, and simply modern life. And when our minerals are depleted, we feel it: fatigue, headaches, brain fog, muscle cramps, dizziness, poor recovery, dehydration, and nervous system depletion.

Hydration is not just water. Hydration is minerals.

I LOVE Lytening Drops by The Gut Center.
No sugar.
No weird flavors.
No fillers.
Just a tiny unflavored dropper bottle you can carry in your purse, pocket, backpack, gym bag, or carry-on.

I just brought a bunch of bottles with me to share at my retreat in India, because they truly come everywhere with me and everyone should benefit. These electrolytes have supported me through long-haul flights around the world, rafting expeditions, workouts, hikes, and my current spring cleanse.

And fun fact: Lytening Drops also sponsored the US U19 Women’s Raft Team at the World Raft Championships. These electrolytes power world champions. They also power me.

Ayurvedic Spring Cleanse 🌸
— Begins May 11

Spring is in full expression—flowers blooming, softening, everything moving upward and outward.

In Ayurveda, this is Kapha season—a time when the heaviness of winter begins to melt. And just like the snow, what’s been stored can start to loosen in the body…showing up as sluggish digestion, congestion, low energy, or mental fog.
This is why spring is the ideal time to cleanse.

Join me for a 3-week Ayurvedic Spring Cleanse
Wednesdays, May 11, 18 & 25 at 5pm Pacific
Live on Zoom
Sign up: www.inspiredlifeayurveda.com

I’ve just returned from an extended journey through India and Europe, and I’m feeling that deep call to reset, clear, and realign with the season—and I’d love for you to join me.

Here’s what this spring practice supports:
• Lighten & mobilize — help the body release winter accumulation
• Rekindle digestion — clear ama and awaken agni
• Reduce congestion — physically and mentally
• Uplift energy — move from heavy → clear → inspired
• Create space — for new ideas, habits, and growth
• Align with nature — working with the season, not against it

This is not a harsh detox. It’s a gentle, nourishing reset rooted in Ayurvedic wisdom—simple foods, daily rhythm, and guided support.

Think: from dense → light, stagnant → flowing, foggy → clear.

Just like the flowers around you, this is a time to emerge.

From Awe to Ojas
The ocean doesn’t just move us emotionally, it changes us physiologically.
Experiencing awe has been shown to quiet the default mode network, soften ego-centered thinking, and increase vagal tone, shifting the body toward parasympathetic regulation. Stress hormones decrease. Connection increases. We move out of contraction and into coherence.
From an Ayurvedic lens, this is a return to balance.
Prana flows more freely. Vata settles. The mind (manas) becomes clear and spacious.
In these moments, Ojas ~ the essence of vitality, immunity, and deep resilience ~ is gently nourished.
Awe dissolves separation.
It recalibrates the nervous system and reminds us of something ancient:
We are not separate from nature.
We are an expression of it.
From “me” to “we.”
From fragmentation to wholeness.

Day 7 ~ River Pilgrimage 🌊💙
A softer rhythm finds us here.
Waking to the layered sounds of the Ganga ~ birds calling, water moving, monkeys rustling through the trees. Maybe, just for a moment in the night, the distant echo of something wild moving through the jungle.
Chai by the river. A slow, nourishing breakfast prepared with so much care. The kind of morning where nothing is rushed.
Yoga. Meditation. Pranayama.
Breathing with the river.
Letting the nervous system settle into something older, steadier.
This is expedition life ~
waking on the river,
being on the river,
moving at the river’s pace.
A mellow day on the water.
Drifting. Floating. Paddling. Rowing.
Taking it all in.
A hidden waterfall appears like a secret offering.
A meander along a stretch of the ancient path once walked by sadhus.
Quiet. Sacred. Timeless.
And then, another camp reveals itself ~
soft sand beneath our feet,
an incredible meal shared together,
a small glowing fire,
laughter, silence, connection.
Group time.
Alone time.
River time.
And once again, we fall asleep to the lullaby of the Ganga.

Day 6 🤍
From first light to starlight, we surrendered to the rhythm of the Bhagirathi.
Carried by her turquoise currents, we moved deep into the sacred canyon ~ where the world quiets, the cliffs rise, and all that’s left is presence. 35 km of pure solitude, just us and the river.
We rode through the power of Confluence Rapid, where the Bhagirathi meets the Alaknanda and becomes Maa Ganga ~ an energy you don’t just see, you feel in your bones, you feel in your soul.
And then…we drifted onward. Softening. Opening. Listening.
Landing at Byas Ghat, we stepped onto the warm sand, held by the earth, held by her. As the sky turned to stars, we lay back and let the sound of Maa Ganga carry us into sleep.
This is pilgrimage.
This is surrender.
This is the river teaching us how to flow.

Day 5 in Devprayag.
We woke to sunlight spilling across the Ganga below ~
soft, golden, already alive.
Morning carried us to the overlook above Devprayag, where the Bhagirathi River and Alaknanda River meet.
Two rivers. Two colors. Two stories.
Becoming one.
This is the sacred beginning of the Ganga ~
a place where currents merge, where what was separate becomes whole.
A reminder that convergence is powerful. That union creates something greater.
From there, we moved to the Alaknanda ~
boats out, ready for a day on the water.
Kayaks, rafts, duckies ~
playing, practicing, feeling into the river.
We waited for a release that never came ~

and somehow, it became exactly what it needed to be.
India has a way of teaching this:
adapt, soften, stay open.
The plan is just a suggestion.
And the river? Always enough.
Later, we made our way down to the confluence itself ~
stepping onto sacred ground.
We dipped our feet into the waters.
Collected Ganga jal from the place where the waters merge.
Fed the fish ~ an offering, a quiet act of giving back in a place that gives so much.
We scouted the Confluence Rapid,
then wandered to the ancient Raghunath Temple ~
dedicated to Lord Ram, where it’s said he performed penance here, and where a simple seat is kept in his honor.
Time slowed.
The weight of history, devotion, and river all meeting in one place.
And then, back above the Ganga ~
to rest, to integrate, to listen.
Day 5: we meet at the confluence. 🌊

Day 4 in Rishikesh.
Down on the banks of Maa Ganga, it was time.
Gearing up. Boats lined. Paddles in hand.
One by one, they stepped in.
They paddled.
They played.
They rolled, they swam.
They met the current not as something separate,
but something to feel, to listen to, to dance with, to be one with.
The sheer volume of the Ganga…
humbling, powerful, alive.
Smiles broke wide.
Laughter echoed across the water.
A kind of joy you can’t manufacture, only meet.
This is where it begins to click.
Where practice meets skill.
Where skill meets sensation.
Where fear softens into respect.
Later, we drove upstream ~
closer to where the river journey truly begins.
Boats loaded. Energy shifting.
That quiet buzz before something bigger.
Ganga.
We’re dropping in.
Day 4: we enter the current. 🌊

03/31/2026

Day 1 in Rishikesh.
Arrive… and let the edges soften.
After travel, after movement, after all the doing...we sat. Breathed. Meditated.
Sitting on the earth, eyes soft, the sound of the Ganga moving below us.
A gentle yoga practice to land in the body.
A walk down to the river.
To greet Maa Ganga. To arrive.
Monkeys watching from everywhere like they’ve seen it all before 🐒
Aarti chanting in the distance.
Incense, dust, river air.
Color everywhere.
This is not a rush.
This is a return.
A group of women ~ paddlers, yogis, seekers ~ arriving not just in a place, but in themselves.
A pilgrimage of river, rhythm, and remembering.
Day 1: we’ve arrived. 🌿

This is divine. So flavorful, super grounding and nourishing. It was everything I needed today.
