👗✨ Who says fashion shows are only for the runway?! ✨👠

We celebrated National Thrift Shop Day in the BEST way! Our clients hit the thrift shops, picked out some fabulous outfits for us, and then turned the tables by having US model their selections in a hilarious and stylish fashion show! 😂💃

From “Where did you find THAT?!” to “Okayyy, I can actually pull this off!” — our clients definitely proved they have an eye for fashion! 😎🛍️

The best part? Seeing their smiles, creativity, and excitement as they watched their choices come to life on the runway. ❤️

10/10 for creativity. 11/10 for style. And 100/10 for our amazing clients! 🌟

This group got to take a fun trip to Astral Glass in New Haven, where they explored the creative world of glass blowing and got an up-close look at the craftsmanship behind it! ✨

We love finding opportunities to explore, learn, create, and make memories together. What a colorful day! 💛🧡💙

We had a great afternoon with the owner of Long Row Lavender, Tracy Smith. She taught us about the growing process, harvesting and all the ways the lavender plant can be used to make useful items. We had a fun time removing the dried flowers and creating sachets! Thank you Tracy for your presentation and taking your time to share your knowledge!

✨🌲 A little whimsy, a lot of fun! 🌲✨

Spent the day wandering through Whimsical Woods, where the trees are magical, the smiles are contagious, and apparently we’re never too old to play! 🧚‍♀️🍄🌿

Sometimes you just need to slow down, enjoy the moment, and let your inner kid come out to play. 💕✨

10/10 would get lost in the woods again! 🌳😂💫

Lots of fun things happening this week…CHART tickets turned in for Kudos prizes, a bowling trip to Oasis Lanes for national bowling day, a trip to Crane’s in Williamsburg, as well as affirmation mirrors, birdhouses, and many more moments of fun and working toward goals!

August’s staff spotlight is shining on Journey’z DSP, Shelly Cochran!! Shelly has been a part of the WCP team for 4 years. 3 interesting facts about Shelly are, 1. She has 1 grandchild, Greyson. 2. She enjoys working in the garden with her flowers. & 3. She has a golf cart and enjoys taking rides with her husband. In her free time away from work, she enjoys spending time with her family & taking her dog to the pond and watching him swim. 🐾 Shelly is a valued member of our day program staff! She is steady, dependable and very experienced. Some words of wisdom she’d like to share are, “Just a friendly reminder, accept what is, let go of what was & have faith in what will be!” ☀️
