We are closing out the summer with a bang! Members at MSCS had no shortage of activities to occupy their time this month. We browsed the book selections at Bookman's, Barnes and Noble, and the local library and still had time to check out the Tucson Desert Art Museum and more! This summer we have also been beating the heat by spreading some kindness!. Each week our members choose someone to give a kindness card to. So far they have chosen our friends at Gabriel’s Guitars, Jason’s Deli and our local security guard. Our friends at Jason’s Deli definitely go above and beyond for us and we appreciate them so much.

Hello Mountain Springs Friends and Family,
We know we have been M.I.A. lately, but sometimes a social media break is good for the soul. It has been wonderful to focus on the fun things in life, and we have been doing just that!

Here are some highlights from May, June, and July.

Moving forward, we will be sharing more regular updates on our social media channels to highlight what our wonderful members and staff are up to each day.

Summer is right around the corner, and we are gearing up for all the fun that comes with it! ☀️

As the temperatures rise, our members have been finding great ways to stay cool while still staying active and engaged. We’ve been enjoying a variety of indoor outings like trips to the movies (Super Mario Galaxy was a huge hit! 🎬🍿), mall walks, Round One, the Wilmot Library, Daiso, Amazing Discoveries, and Heroes and Villains—something for everyone to enjoy!

When the weather gives us a break, we’re still making the most of the outdoors with activities like disc golf, Music in the Courtyard, and visits to Reid Park 🌳🎶

Our Saturday Respite group also had an amazing adventure traveling to Phoenix to explore the OdySea Aquarium! From the Voyager ride to getting up close with jellyfish, sharks, and sea turtles, it was a day full of excitement and unforgettable experiences 🐠🦈🐢

Be sure to keep an eye out for our May calendar—we’ve got even more fun planned!
