Special thank you to Linda Jean Shannon-Hills for helping organize and the University of Arizona R. Ken Coit College of Pharmacy for helping vaccinate seniors up at SaddleBrooke Ranch along with Desert Life Pharmacy. It shows what an impact an independent pharmacy can do for a community!

Thank you, thank you, thank you to our Arizona Representatives on the Oversight Committee for voting yes in support of Pharmacists Fight Back Act to help government employees and their pharmacies of choice.

Support HR 6610 this Wednesday so we and our fellow community pharmacies can continue to provide care for the people in your district!

What does the Pharmacists Fight Back Act in the Federal Employee Health Benefits Plan (H.R. 6610) do?

H.R. 6610 ends anticompetitive PBM practices by:

Shifting to Transparent Pricing: Taking away the ability for PBMs to manipulate drug prices by moving to a market-based index model (NADAC) + 4% + a dispensing fee.

Banning Steering: Prohibiting PBMs from steering to pharmacies they own and from marking drugs up at their own pharmacies.

Eliminating Abusive Fees: Prohibiting PBMs from charging point-of-sale and retroactive fees on non-affiliated retail pharmacies.

Passing Rebates to Patients: Requiring PBMs to share drugmaker discounts with patients at the pharmacy counter.
